Chubby Menard Pancake day began in 1972 and is
alive and well! For more than 40 years, Batesville Kiwanis has hosted
Pancake Day. Although many stories have come from Pancake Day, including
when it was held in the local bus station and a grease fire broke
out; locals flock to the fall tradition.
These days, the Pancake Day is held
on the third Thursday in October at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on Main Street. We are open for business from 6AM until 7PM.
Tickets are only $6.00 and are available from any Kiwanis member and at the door on CMPD. the meal includes pancakes, sausage and a drink. You are welcome to drive by for a carryout dinner. |
